September 2012      I started the MFA post graduate degree at Edinburgh College of Art. After the first semester I decided to withdraw from the course because the course had little to offer in relation to my practice.

June 2012                 I completed the fine art undergraduate course at The University of Chester. I graduated with 1st class honours.

Before starting this in 2009 I had been a decorative artist for approximately twenty-five years, this consisted of producing paint effects, murals, stencilling, etc.

This involved me working with companies and private clients, producing themed ideas which would be completed by myself to the clients satisfaction.

Previous to this, in 1972-1977 I attended Bolton Art College, where I completed a foundation course and a surface pattern and textile design course, achieving a SIAD qualification.

Born in Bolton 1956.
